Fr. Pat was born in Milwaukee, WI and as a child moved to Manitowoc and then Kenosha, WI due to his father’s job before the family finally settled in Sun Prairie, WI. As he grew into adulthood his own career took him from Sun Prairie to Tomah and then Oshkosh before he returned to Sun Prairie after his mother’s death. Prior to entering the seminary to become a priest Fr. Pat was in the service and sales industries. Immediately before entering the seminary he was the Route Supervisor for the Village Hearth Bread Company. After beginning his studies one of his classmates remarked to him that “he went from one ‘bread company’ to another – from feeding people physically to feeding them spiritually.” Fr. Pat was a “late vocation” in the sense that he was ordained a priest of Jesus Christ at the age of 43. After several years of formation at St. John XXIII Seminary in Boston, MA he was ordained by Reverend Bishop Robert Morlino in 2008. Since his ordination he has had the privilege of serving the people of St. John the Baptist Parish in Waunakee, WI as Parochial Vicar, and the people of St. Joseph Parish in Dodgeville, WI as Pastor. He is currently the Pastor of both St. Bernard and St. Henry Catholic Parishes in Watertown, WI. He thanks God daily for the many wonderful people that he has been blessed to serve and work alongside over the course of his priesthood.
